Three of Laurence Kothari’s favourite pipes.

TOP: S.Bang Grade ‘A’ bent Rhodesian – straight grained 360 degrees around and nice tight birdseye top and bottom of the bowl.

MIDDLE: Kirt Balleby Grade 4 – a very typical Balleby shape (deep brandy glass) with tight flame grain 360 around the bowl and stem. The bottom has superlative birseye.

BOTTOM: ‘Orca’ by Peter Klein – the top grade. The pipe was designed by Laurence and and has a 50,000 year old mammoth horn ring. Tight flame to straight grain all around the bowl and lovely birdseye on the bottom.
