A long-term fan of pipes (and sometimes a cigar), I am also a member of the Worshipful Company of Tobacco Pipe Makers and Tobacco Blenders and was their Master 2016-17 (https://www.tobaccolivery.org/content/26/Charles-Miller-2016.htm); By trade, I’m an auctioneer and run a small specialist Rooms off the King’s Road dedicated to maritime and scientific works of art (models, instruments, paintings etc.) in a bi-annual sale. I live in Fulham with my long-term (suffering) partner Camilla and have a moderate collection of pipes and snuff boxes – another area I’m keen on. On top of good tobacco, I enjoy good beer, good food and good company and when quiet, a good book!
