Hailing from Illinois

Dear All, There is a photograph of yours truly smoking his grandfather’s Oom Paul at five years of age (the pipe unlit, of course). I have collected briar pipes since age sixteen–nearly sixty years now–and I am as enthusiastic as ever. In the past few years I have sold my Dunhills and Barlings in order to concentrate on carved figural briars. I studied at Oxford the summer I graduated from High School–1967–and I still have my tin of “Oxford Memories” tobacco. Daniel Dahlquist
