Greetings from the US. My name is Gerald Boyd. I purchased my first pipe over 40 years ago. I tried smoking it every couple of years but it just wasn’t for me. Cigars were just so much easier. About three years ago I found a couple of videos on pipe smoking. Then I met some pipe smokers and they suggested I join the Chicago Pipe Collectors Club. There I met a great group of pipe smokers and learned some more valuable tips on smoking a pipe. A few of us meet each Thursday for lunch and then go  somewhere to smoke a couple of bowls and chat all about new pipes and share different tobaccos. I’m hoping to learn some more tips from club members here to help me on my journey to enjoying the pipe.
